The Center for Leadership and Service (CLS) will be hosting Alternative Spring Break, a service trip for student volunteers. It will transpire from March 8 to March 13, 2020, and gives students an opportunity to be productive and show their volunteerism over their time off from school.

Senior portraits are a commemoration of the hard work and dedication it takes to complete one's college career. During the months of February, March and April, the seniors of Kean University will have their chance to memorialize their own hard work by getting their portraits taken with Prestige Portraits by Lifetouch. Photo sessions will take place in the Miron Student Center (MSC), Room 226 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Wilkins Theatre is presenting a showing of Alice in Wonderland, where one can follow Alice on a whimsical journey through another universe. This production of Alice in Wonderland has been on tour since Dec. 8, 2019, and will make a stop in Union, New Jersey on Feb. 8 at 11 a.m.

The Spring 2020 semester is an opportunity for students at Kean to start fresh and begin to set new goals, achieve new heights or maintain the great progression they have already been on during their college careers. Kean Research Days 2020, happening in the spring of 2020, is just around the corner. The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) hosts the annual Research Days event at Kean University. Acting Director Susan Gannon and Assistant Director Reenat Munshi say the research days is a great way for students to network and showcase their research in non-competitive environment.

The newest of Kean University's 19 graduate programs is in Genetic Counseling (M.S.). Utilizing a diverse skill set, the new program combines science with real work practice to create and advance treatments. This program will give students the opportunity to research, advance medical science and establish new diagnostic produces.
