On Sunday, April 19, 2015, from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Otaku Anime Society (OAS) will be hosting their first and soon-to-be annual TowerCon to commemorate their 15 year anniversary.
Ever experience that sense of community and belonging? It is not uncommon for that feeling to be established after donating one’s time and services for the betterment of the community. Year after year Kean University demonstrates that it is no stranger to community service. In fact, the university makes it a point to teach its students that it is not all about hitting the books while in college, but they also encourage students to volunteer.

The legend of Dr. Theodore Geisle Seuss is familiar to most people. Everyone has come across The Cat in the Hat or The Grinch at least once in their lives. Since 1937, his riveting tales of fantasy and wonder have inspired hope to children and adults all over the world. Multiple accolades have been awarded to his wonderful story telling, artistic illustrations, and his exceptionally meritorious perseverance. At Liberty Hall Museum on Saturday, February 28, 2015, his 111 birthday was celebrated in a way that would make the Dr. himself proud at the Dr. Seuss’s Birthday Breakfast .
To celebrate Black History Month and the loveable day of Valentine’s Day, Student Government Organization hosted For the Love of Music: Black History Month and Valentine’s Day concert on Friday, February 6, 2015, at Wilkins Theatre. It was a successful night, especially since nearly 800 tickets were sold before the concert date. On the night of, the crowd did not only consist of college students, but of people of different ages ranging from age 17 to about the age of 60.
