Kean Theatre Conservatory, under the direction of Professor Holly Logue, presented the divine musical comedy, Sister Act to a virtual audience with performances held April 16-18. Tickets for this fun-filled event were done via ShowTix4U – Free Online Ticketing with links emailed to guests followed by a Q&A utilizing a zoom link to chat with the cast up close and personal after all performances.

The Leadership Institute Silver level team The Sterlings, presented an informative forum Friday, April 9 via Zoom to raise awareness and help others understand the complexities of chronic illness. Group members Alexandra Calpo, Chris Sclafani, Morgan LePore and Javonica Latimore integrated topics related to congenital heart disease, asthma, cystic fibrosis and Alzheimer’s disease.

Student Health Services (SHS) and Kean University Peer Educators hosted a two-day event consisting of a movie-screening and a discussion panel about the film "Roll Red Roll". This movie was used to educate students on the importance of sexual assault. In these events, students could see the effects of sexual abuse and how to prevent this situation on campus.

On Tuesday, March 16, eight people were killed in shootings at three Atlanta, Georgia spas. Seven of the eight victims targeted were women of Asian descent. On Monday, March 29, an open forum took place on Zoom with Kean University to discuss the issue and the need for reform.
