On Saturday, April 29, Kean University PRISM will host its second annual Pride Prom. At 7 p.m., students will have the opportunity to attend the event being held in the Kean University STEM Atrium. With a night full of dancing, partying, and fun, students won’t want to miss this unforgettable night.

Although it’s seen as a vacational period, students remained focused on their educational goals as spring break typically occurs midway through the semester. For those in the pre-medical community, there is a newly recognized club where they are sure to fit right in.
During Black History Month, communities often highlight the Black innovators of the world. Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, and Harriet Tubman are some of the most mentioned figures in regard to Black history. The legacy of Black innovators is impactful and necessary, so it’s also important to bring awareness to those who don’t get as much coverage in the media or in textbooks.
Commencement is a time for students to celebrate the accomplishments they’ve made at Kean University. From making lasting friendships to expanding their knowledge, everyone has had the opportunity to learn something new over the past few years. Some practices for keeping the Earth clean can include recycling, reducing water usage, creating composts and more. At Kean University, being green and environmentally friendly is encouraged and students are eager to suggest how the university can make a difference in saving the planet.

On Tuesday, January 31, crowds of students came out for Kean University’s Student Involvement and Employment Fair. From 12 to 4 p.m., the chatter and laughs of students could be heard throughout the Mirson Student Center. The clubs and organizations set up tables and were ready to showcase the interesting and unique qualities of their groups.
