Friends for Children with Cancer (FFCWC) is an organization at Kean that is open to all students, any grade and any major. A chance for any student to get involved on campus and become a part of something far greater than they could have expected.

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, college sports have been put on hold, leaving their audiences missing their favorite teams and their players missing their favorite sports. During the fall 2020 semester college sports were finally allowed to open up. The Kean men’s and women’s basketball teams had a successful first season back.

Debuting in her first college basketball game, freshman Sarah Weber walked into the gym at New Jersey City University (NJCU). The evening before Kean women's basketball team had taken on NJCU on their home turf, unfortunately suffering a loss. This time though, Weber has her chance to show what she could do.

The Genetic Counseling Student Interest Group exists at Kean to educate students on the field of genetic counseling. They aim to do this through resources for students as well as a community of peers that they have created. By joining this group, students can learn more about genetics, medicine, psychology and advocacy.

On the first weekend of February, Women's Basketball at Kean University stepped onto the court for their first two games of the season. Both against New Jersey City University (NJCU). The Lady Cougars played on Friday, Feb. 5 at 5 p.m. at home in Harwood Arena and then again on Saturday, Feb. 6 at 3 p.m. away at NJCU.
