Held on April 23 and 24, Kean’s Marketing faculty and student team presented their research to the EATA (East Asian Trade Association) Biannual International Virtual Conference and Research Symposium. Assistant professor in the School of Management and Marketing, Min Chung Han, Ph.D., senior majoring in marketing Adrian Peralta and WKU senior majoring in marketing Danwei Yang received an award for their research presentation.

Fall 2021 semester will be here before we know it and returning to campus during this time comes with mandatory measures. President Lamont O. Repollet, Ed.D. has followed in the footsteps of other universities in NJ, requiring that students coming back to campus in the fall must be vaccinated. With this announcement brings a lot of questions about the COVID 19 vaccine and the options available.

Kean Association of Marketing (KAM) just recently won the Marketing Madness competition after a month of many competitors who stepped up to the plate with the final decision being announced on April 2. The prize was $6,500 and an exclusive talk session with HP's Global Head of Design & Sustainability, Stacy Wolff.

Each academic year, student groups need to re-register their organizations to remain recognized by the university. Student groups do this by completing the Student Group Recognition Form, which is available on Cougar Link.

Research Days is an annual event where students and faculty alike come together to share their research efforts. While this event is typically held in person, this year it will be held online. The 2021 Virtual Research Days will transpire on Tues. April 27 and Weds. April 28.

Live and from its virtual Zoom webinar, Kean Dance Marathon (KDM) launched its annual fundraiser for the Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, NJ on Friday, April 16, from 4 to 5 p.m. Hosted by the Greek Senate, the event was led by Graduate Intern for Greek Affairs Gabriella Lapointe with co-host, Delta Phi Epsilon senior, Katherine Lewandowski majoring in early childhood education and Assistant Director for Greek Life, Alex Louis. The marathon is regularly a 12-hour event that takes place at Harwood Arena on campus with dancing and singing but adjustments had to be altered due to the ongoing world crisis.

As we move quickly through our Spring 2021 semester, the time has come once again to begin thinking about registration and the schedule for the upcoming semester. It can be difficult to navigate KeanWise and to pick courses, not only for incoming students but for the students doing it remotely. Kean has implemented a new student planning program to aid in making scheduling courses a little easier.

One of the most important parts of graduation is what a student will wear as they cross the stage into their life moving forward. A beautiful dress, heels, pressed suit, and dress shoes are only half of the attire graduates will be sporting on one of the most important days of their lives. The graduation regalia that worn over-top of the primed outfits, are a staple of this momentous occasion.
