Research Days is set to take place on April 24-25 in the spring semester of 2018 in the STEM Building, and all students and faculty who are engaging in a research project are encouraged to join. This event has always been a positive experience for students and seeks to continue in such fashion next year.

Monday, Dec. 4, in the Little Theater of the Miron Student Center (MSC), Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), Women of Excellence (WoE) and Men of Excellence (MoE) put that saying to the test. The event Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus, was a panel discussion made up of selected members of PRSSA, WoE, and MoE.

Katherine Caguana, a senior studying psychology with a minor in criminal justice and public administration, has achieved many accomplishments while at Kean University. While it is her last year here, she plans to continue her success and to implement new activities for students to be involved at Kean.
On Monday, Nov. 20 around 7 p.m. in the Cougar's Den, music filled the area. Students eating outside of the lounge immediately looked over and wondered what event would take place. That night, the Poetry Club hosted its Bars For Blessings event, which was an open mic event where they performed spoken word poetry or music and raised money to create winter care packages for the homeless.
On Thursday, Nov. 16, Kean University hosted a book signing on Ian Volner's biography of Michael Graves, the American architect. Volner's biography of Michael Graves highlighted his life, travels and achievements. The book signing took place at the Green Lane Academic Building (GLAB) room 406 and the room filled with design and architecture majors of all sorts.
Kean University is known for guiding and creating influential people who succeed in their craft. Marc Louis Rosario, a recent Kean Graduate '17 was given the honorable title of a semi-finalist for one of many Adobe Design Achievement Awards.

Hello Kean Community! Come watch The Boys Next Door in the Zella Fry theatre at Vaughn Eames starting November 10 running through November 18. The play chronicles four adult men with mental disabilities and mental illnesses. It shows how we all want to fit in this world, but we're all so different. Bring friends and family to see this theatre performance!
Students are encouraged to join the Center for Leadership and Service (CLS) for the Grow-a-Row volunteer opportunity on Saturday, Nov. 18. from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Milford Farm. This is a perfect volunteer opportunity for anyone who likes to get their hands dirty in the great outdoors.
