On April 6, 2016, the Kean University Leadership Institute along with the Military & Veterans Club is hosted a Military Ball to raise awareness and funds for the VA Hospital in East Orange, NJ. This organization offers services to veterans such as primary care, specialty doctors, rehabilitative programs, women’s health services and much more.
Kean University’s official student newspaper, The Tower, has earned five awards, including one for General Excellence, from the New Jersey Collegiate Press Association (NJCPA.)

On Friday, February 19, 2016, from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m., attendees filed into Wilkins Theatre to attend the first showing of Julius Caesar. This opening night was immediately followed by a reception with food and drinks in the lobby of Wilkins Theatre.
Kean University's "Meet the Greeks" is an event where Greek organizations showcase what they have to offer to potential members. This performance video shows Greek organizations saluting, stepping, and strolling. Check below for the times of each organization performing.
