Obtaining a position on an organization’s executive board is something new and exciting. An individual is now not only a member of a club, but holds a leadership role, putting some pressure on the person. They begin wondering how they are going to improve the organization and if their attempts will be successes. The center for leadership and service (CLS) would like to assist all Kean University organizations executive board members with their new leadership roles. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, and Thursday, June 4, 2015, the Student Group Leadership Conference will take place in the University Center (UC). For Kean Ocean student leaders, the conference will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015. The gathering of executive boards also serves as an opportunity for individuals to meet those in other organizations, perhaps coming in handy over the next year.
