Kean University Rotaract Action Club (KURAC) is a worldwide service organization that allows young adults to serve as leaders in the community. Rotaract will be made up of six new eboard members including president Stephanie Mera, vice president Michelle Duarte, secretary Akane Ueda, treasurer Mike Gonzalez, director of public relations Sarah Fedak, and advisor Bok Jeong.

On March 20, the Kean University field hockey team was awarded a Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award. This award is only presented to teams that have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher for the fall semester, which the Cougars met and surpassed with a team GPA of 3.6. Only 131 Division III Field Hockey teams, including the Cougars, earned the distinction this season.

Poetry and spoken word have been instruments for expression and catalysts for creativity, constructing elaborate pieces of art throughout the extensive story of humanity. The art of constructing intricate pieces through the use of one's vivid mind and vocabulary have created memorable writings that had the power to inspire and motivate future generations, just with the use of one's voice and a pen to a piece of paper.

Taylor MacLean is a graduate student at Kean University currently earning her doctorate degree in clinical and school psychology, who was the winner of the $25,000 AbbVie Cystic Fibrosis Scholarship. MacLean suffers from cystic fibrosis, a disease that affects her lungs and digestive system, but through her own determination and never-quit attitude, she is able to continue her education at Kean and receive this great honor to help further her life and career goals.
