The Physical Therapy Club (PT Club) at Kean University was established to help guide students aspiring to pursue careers in physical therapy.
Kean University takes pride in its organizations and student leaders. With that being said, there are more than 160 student groups with a variety of eboard members. One of the clubs is the Pre-Medical Pre-Dental Association which strives to help members develop stronger leadership and communication skills.
It is safe to say that when attending college one does not anticipate the moment of graduation to come, and when it does it is important to have a plan for the future.

On March 20, the Kean University field hockey team was awarded a Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award. This award is only presented to teams that have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher for the fall semester, which the Cougars met and surpassed with a team GPA of 3.6. Only 131 Division III Field Hockey teams, including the Cougars, earned the distinction this season.
Poetry and spoken word have been instruments for expression and catalysts for creativity, constructing elaborate pieces of art throughout the extensive story of humanity. The art of constructing intricate pieces through the use of one's vivid mind and vocabulary have created memorable writings that had the power to inspire and motivate future generations, just with the use of one's voice and a pen to a piece of paper.
Taylor MacLean is a graduate student at Kean University currently earning her doctorate degree in clinical and school psychology, who was the winner of the $25,000 AbbVie Cystic Fibrosis Scholarship. MacLean suffers from cystic fibrosis, a disease that affects her lungs and digestive system, but through her own determination and never-quit attitude, she is able to continue her education at Kean and receive this great honor to help further her life and career goals.
The Kean University Peer Educators are looking for students to apply and join their team and help promote their mission to develop, review, enhance and revise policy on substances on campus and for increasing awareness of campus resources in regard to drugs and alcohol.
Here in our Kean University community we have many amazing faculty and staff who are dedicated to developing their students and changing their community.

Robert Schiele is the Executive Vice President of the Graduate and Part-Time Student Council and a Graduate Assistant for the School of Education.
To excel in both the classroom at the graduate level and in the work space requires a sense of patience, time management, diligence, professionalism and a reason to give one's best effort everyday. For Robert Schiele, that reason serves as a purpose to uphold the good name of Kean University.
Stephanie Cardenas, a senior majoring in general biology with a minor in health sciences, is the current Vice President of Multicultural Affairs on the Greek Senate at Kean University.
The last semester for college students can be a fruitful experience, as final classes, graduation pictures, cap-and-gown buying and plan-making for their big commencement ceremony all occur. This can also be a bittersweet and stressful time for students finishing up their undergraduate careers, with the pressures of finding a job after graduation and the need for the payment of student expenses just being some of the worries that seniors have before and after they get their degrees.
As a part of Unity Week, join in the celebration of diversity that is Kean University at CultureFest! On Tuesday, March 6, from 7Pm to 11PM, guests will be able to learn about as well as experience the many cultures that make up Kean through music, performances, and a cultural fashion show. Tickets are $5.00 for guests and free for students with a valid Kean ID. Come check it out!
What is SOTA? How does it have an impact on the Kean community? SOTA is the Student Occupational Therapy Association, and it allows students the opportunity to develop in their field.
The honor societies at Kean are organizations that separate the academically elite at Kean and gives them a space to come together and work as a group to help others through service and leadership. Often associated with a specific subject, honor societies show high achievement in academics and involvement.
