The Kean University Alternative Spring Break project is an opportunity for volunteers to actively participate in community service projects of various forms. It is an opportunity to share a meaningful experience with Kean University students as well as contemplate the role of volunteerism in today's society. Volunteers will be visiting one or more work sites to assist rebuilds of homes as well as other volunteer projects. There is a wide array of tasks, including but not limited to, debris removal, painting, sheet rock removal/installation or general labor tasks and operations etc.
Spring break is a week open for students, staff and faculty to do whatever their hearts desire; but for 24 students and staff they decided to spend their spring break giving back to the community.
