On April 6, 2016, the Kean University Leadership Institute along with the Military & Veterans Club is hosted a Military Ball to raise awareness and funds for the VA Hospital in East Orange, NJ. This organization offers services to veterans such as primary care, specialty doctors, rehabilitative programs, women’s health services and much more.

In Union County alone, there are over 1,600 people affected by homelessness. Throughout November the students of Kean University will have the opportunity to lend a helping hand to those suffering with Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.
