On October 3, Kean students lined up outside the Wilkins Theatre for the University’s annual Homecoming Concert.
On Saturday, October 1, 2016, hundreds of students and Alumni came together for one of the biggest events on campus, Homecoming. This year the theme for Homecoming was Once Upon A Time, where students and other attendees were able to dress up in their favorite fairytale outfits.
On Saturday, October 1, 2016, the winners for homecoming king and queen were announced during halftime of the football game between Kean University and Frostburg State University. The two lucky winners were Michael Marquez for homecoming king and Erica King for homecoming queen.
With Homecoming right around the corner, Kean University's Student Government has plenty of activities planned for students to get involved on campus.

Throughout the weekend of October 24, 2014, Kean’s Homecoming festivities will be in full effect. From Friday to Sunday there will be various communal events. In Harwood Arena on October 24th beginning at 6 p.m., the pep rally will kick off homecoming weekend. The pep rally is intended to incite excitement among the Kean community about what’s to come. Beginning the day on Saturday (October 25), the 5K run will take place at 8 a.m. in the Alumni Stadium. On both Friday and Saturday, The Importance of Being Earnest is being shown in Zella Fry Theatre at 8 p.m. It has been dubbed ‘a trivial comedy for serious people.’ Sunday will conclude this year’s homecoming weekend.
