On April 6, 2016, the Kean University Leadership Institute along with the Military & Veterans Club is hosted a Military Ball to raise awareness and funds for the VA Hospital in East Orange, NJ. This organization offers services to veterans such as primary care, specialty doctors, rehabilitative programs, women’s health services and much more.

The proceeds from the event will help provide Veteran patients with many essential services and programs that otherwise would not be available to them, such as transportation services, social service assistance, rehabilitation equipment, recreation programs, activities, homeless Veteran's services, holiday gifts, phone cards and many other options.
