College is a mix of students who commute and live on campus. During the week, an average student's day is filled with classes, homework, clubs, and studying. The weekends can be tricky because many don't know what to do on their days off. Luckily, there is never a dull moment at Kean.

For those looking for a weekend activity, students can go to Cougar Link. There, students can find events and attend ones that peak their interest. Events are a great way to have fun, get free food, and meet new people.

Kean students are free to visit the Liberty Hall Museum. According to their website, people can "explore a revolutionary-era home that grew into a 50-room mansion, and trace one family’s history through furnishings, decorative arts, clothing, and so much more."

Tours of the museum are free to all Kean students. The Liberty Hall Museum is also holding different events throughout the semester and some take place on the weekends.

Students who appreciate art will definetly enjoy Galleries at Kean. This semester, at the Liberty Hall Academic Center Gallery, the "Rarely Seen Photographs of the Extraordinary" exhibit is being displayed. Galleries at Kean describes this attraction as the "latest entry in National Geographic’s iconic line of large-format photography revealing some of the world’s most astounding phenomena."

Like the museum, Galleries at Kean has more to offer this semster. Alongside the exhibit, they will be hosting artistic events for the remainder of the year.

Students don't have to stay on campus for the weekends. Being adjacent to Union Station, Kean is only a 30-minute train ride away from New York City. This opens up even more fun activities for the weekend.

For those who want to relax and eat on the weekend, Kean is close to many different restaurants. Across the street, at Shoppes at Vermella, students can find Panera Bread, Chipotle, Starbucks, The Habit Burger Grill and more. Off-campus, Kean has partnered with local eateries that accept Flex Dollars, some including:
