The 2019 Homecoming Pep Rally continued the launch into Kean's Homecoming weekend. Starting at 6:00 p.m. in Harwood Arena, students anxiously awaited the kick-off to the biggest event of the year.
Excitement filled the air as students prepared for the highly anticipated homecoming game on Saturday. The pep rally served as a great way for students to get excited and come together as a community in support of their team. The evening featured tons of smiling faces and eager students looking forward to the mini-games happening during the rally.
The night began with students joining together, sporting their Kean gear, and uniting on the bleachers for the kickoff of the evening. Throughout the night, there was a variety of sporting events that all students were encouraged to join. Participants raced on scooters across the gym, zooming across the floor. They even tested their skills on the court with a basketball shoot-out. After that, a great tug-of-war event was held as well.
Performances and dances brought the night into full swing, getting everyone dancing out of their seats. By the end of the night, students were full of energy and support for the football team.
Throughout the evening, Kean’s athletic teams presented a series of videos showing off their Kean pride, getting everyone prepared for the much anticipated Homecoming game.
The pep rally served as part of the collective events leading up to Homecoming weekend, following the 90’s themed roller-skate party the night before. After the pep rally, students and their families were able to attend and enjoy the tailgate and the game over the weekend, all in support of Kean’s football team.
Student Organization arranged and hosted all of the Homecoming festivities, helping to mark this year's Homecoming down in history.
