One of Kean's extravagant buildings is the Green Lane Academic building (GLAB), home to the Kean University Barnes & Noble Bookstore. The Kean University Barnes & Noble Bookstore is a resource on campus for everything including textbooks, supplies and apparel.
What differentiates the Kean University Barnes & Noble Bookstore is the large section dedicated to Kean specific textbooks. The Kean professors are able to request the books needed for their courses for the bookstore to stock and label them, based on the course number and section.
It is important that students are aware of what the bookstore offers. One of the key services is textbook price matching. The Kean Barnes & Noble Bookstore will price match new, used and used rentals with Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other local competitors. To find out if the bookstore will price match, walk in and ask! Be aware the bookstore will not price match digital textbooks, access codes, special orders, new rentals, peer-to-peer pricing and online marketplaces.
To find out which textbooks a student would need, refer to the class' syllabuses or check KeanWise, under class schedule at the bottom to view books. The view books link will send you to the Kean Barnes & Noble Bookstore and show one the different options for pricing offered for new or used books to buy or rent.
Most of Kean's wide range of apparel is located within the bookstore. Students can find the newest in Kean gear and catch sales. Students who sign up for the Kean Bookstore email notifications, will be alerted about sales on apparel.
On the bookstore website one can find their back to school checklist, which is complete with different supplies needed with each item on the list in stock at the bookstore. Everything from school supplies, gadgets and tech, bedding, storage, decor and personal care are available.
The bookstore was opened in January of 2014 and is also home to the Michael Graves School of Architecture and Robert Busch School of Design, as well as a key location for many business classes at Kean. The award-winning building has received many accolades honoring its overall design and architecture.
In addition to the service provided by the bookstore, it has its own Barnes & Noble Cafe. The Barnes & Noble Cafe serves Starbucks coffee and has a variety of food options, as well as many spots to relax, study or meet with friends.

Be sure to give them a visit this semester for everything you may need. Have a good semester!
