Kean University is known for its many assets on campus, one being the Barnes & Noble bookstore. The Barnes & Noble bookstore for many years has served as a place for students to purchase Kean attire, books, food and daily essentials. The bookstore and its employees understand the need for the material they sell and aim to expand its collection of electronics and technological gear.

As the official bookstore for Kean University, located in the Green Lane Academic Building, they have a commitment to carry all course materials, clothes and gifts, while giving efficient customer service. 

For new students coming in, understanding the bookstore and how beneficial it can be is essential and continuing students may be surprised to learn materials available to them. 

On the Barnes & Noble website students and guests can view each tab such as textbooks, apparel, gifts and accessories, supplies and electronics, offers and collections. Under the textbooks tab, students can find textbooks, review textbook rentals, sell back textbooks and digital resources.

Under the textbooks tab, students are able to input their semester term, the class department, course number and section. 

Students can find out the previous information by logging on to KeanWISE, once the student is in they must select the "Students" tab. By doing so, the student can visit their "Academic Profile" and click on the link “My Class Schedule”. Students should then select the desired term, then click "View Books" and it will redirect the student to the Barnes & Noble website. 

Under the apparel tab, men and women can search for apparel along the lines of:

• T-shirts and tanks
• Sweatshirts
• Performance apparel
• Hats
• Bottoms
• Shirts and sweaters
• Accessories

There are also a few items that allows students to choose unisex options as well. Under the the gift and accessories tab, options range from:

• Diploma frames
• Bags
• Drinkware
• Home and recreation
• Personal accessories
• School spirit accessories

Under the supplies and electronics supplies and electronics tab, students can choose between:

• Computers and electronics
• Dorm essentials 
• School supplies 
• Specialty supplies

Barnes & Noble is an instrument that should be used by students in order to have a beneficial experience at Kean.
