Murder Mystery at the Liberty Hall Museum will take place on Saturday, Nov. 11. Happening for the second year in a row, this is one of the many events that the museum has planned for the fall season.
Murder Mystery at the Museum will be a fun event for anyone who loves the board game Clue. For anyone who wondered what it felt like to be a detective, they have the opportunity to have their dreams come true.
"We always thought it would be fun to do a murder mystery time event within the museum," said Lacey Kohutich, the coordinator of museum programs. "It's a great setting for one and the house is similar to the mansion in the board game Clue, so we modeled our murder mystery event off the game."
Like the board game, individuals will be sent back in time to solve a murder. For this event, participants will have to figure out who murdered Mr. Frederic Ericson. With many questions surrounding his death and who could potentially have motive, individuals will have to interrogate five suspects in order to solve the mystery.
To make things more interesting, individuals will be split into teams. Competing against each other, participants will have to race against the clock and their opponents to solve the mystery.
Murder Mystery at the Museum has three time slots for Nov. 11. With time slots at 4, 6 and 8 p.m., it is important for interested individuals to reserve time slots. Reservations are due Nov. 4.
The event is $40.00 per person and $35.00 per museum members. To reserve a time slot and purchase tickets, visit the Liberty Hall Museum website or click here to access the ticket service directly.
The Liberty Hall Museum is located at 1003 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ, 07083.
