Students, get the vocal cords ready! Have the confidence to perform in front of a large audience? When singing, does the musical sound widen eyes and create smiles? For those interested in singing their heart out, auditions for the 2017 Undergraduate and Graduate Commencements are here!
Sign ups are required to audition for the commencement. To schedule an audition slot, students can email premiere@kean.edu or call 908-737-4092 with the following:
- Expected year of graduation
- Cell phone number
- Indicate whether interested in singing graduate or undergraduate commencement
Those who choose to audition must be current students!
Auditions will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 and Monday, April 17, 2017. Time slots will be given between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Students will audition in the Miron Student Center's Little Theatre. All of those who are set to audition should come prepared to sing the National Anthem a cappella (without music). Each is to bring in a copy of their class and work schedule as well.
Please be aware that Undergraduate Commencement is Tuesday, March 16, 2017 and the Graduate Commencement is Thursday, May 18, 2017. There will be a singer chosen for each commencement, so there will be opportunities for two students!
