On Tuesday, March 28, 2017, the Jumpstart Talent Show will be held in the Cougar's Den from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Students do not need a ticket to attend the event.
Performances will be made by the members of Jumpstart and the Center for Leadership and Service (CLS) employees.
"The purpose of the Talent Show is to have the Jumpstart Corps Members bond and have fun together," said Kean University Associate Site Manager Michelle Zuzock. "The same idea goes for the [attendees] -- the more [people] that attend, the more fun they have together being silly."
Anyone can sign up to perform. Many of the performances include the singing of Jumpstart songs, performing dances and partaking in Simon Says.
"It does not need to be a 'talent,'" Zuzock said.
The judges will be looking for creativity, enthusiasm and humor and the winners of these three categories will receive a small prize.
The event is being hosted by the Jumpstart Social Committee, which meets once a week. The committee consists of members of the Jumpstart team that dedicate extra time to plan and implement social events for the 80-member Jumpstart team.
For those looking for a fun way to spend time between classes, stop by the Cougar's Den on Tuesday and watch a variety of entertaining performances.
