The big day is just a few months away, 100 days to be exact. As Tuesday, February 7, 2017 marks 100 days until the Kean University Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony, an event is being hosted in recognition.

The Alumni Association, along with Office of Student Government, Miron Student Center (MSC) Operations and Event Management and the Kean University Bookstore, will host 100 Days Until Graduation for those graduating in May 2017.

From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., members of the Class of 2017 can swing by Miron Student Center Atrium and partake in graduation-centered festivities. Students should make sure to bring their Kean University student I.D.

Do not be left without a cap and gown on Commencement Day! Graduating seniors have the option to order caps and gowns at the event, or they can order online. The cap and gown are included in the $100 graduation fee.

Not sure what size to order? No problem! There will be samples available for future graduates to try on before processing the order. An order includes: cap, gown, hood pertaining to student’s major and tassel with year date charm. Seniors should make sure to place their cap and gown order by the deadline, which is Monday, March 27, 2017.

What about graduating seniors who do not want their college memories to be slowly forgotten? At 100 Days Until Graduation, students can also order a yearbook. The starting price for a yearbook is $75, and one can also be purchased online.

The event will also give students the opportunity to order their class ring, have a photo-op with the Kean University Cougar and more. Refreshments will also be available.
