The Kean University Theatre Conservatory will perform Jesus Hopped The A Train in mid-October

There are plenty of affordable entertainment opportunities on campus for all Kean University students as well as the public through Kean Stage. 

From musical to theatrical, during the fall 2016 semester, shows are being hosted weekly at Enlow Recital Hall, Wilkins Theatre, STEM Building auditorium, Zella Fry Theatre and Liberty Hall Museum. 

Depending on the show, ticket prices can range from being free to $60.

Free performances are held by the wind ensemble, concert choir, jazz ensemble and percussion ensemble at Enlow Recital Hall. Several international films are being screened at the STEM building auditorium for only $5.

The Kean Theatre Conservatory is performing two plays this semester: Jesus Hopped The 'A' Train and Seussical at the Zella Fry Theatre and Wilkins Theatre respectively. Tickets for these shows range from $10 to $15.

More expensive shows are performed at Wilkins Theatre and Enlow Recital Hall, and include appearances by Grammy and Tony Award-winning artists. Tickets for these shows can cost up to $65.  

With a wide variety of entertainment opportunities, look no further than right here on campus for an affordable night out.

Tickets for all of the performances and screenings can be purchased at Kean Stage website or at the box office of Wilkins Theatre. Kean University students are eligible to receive discounts for particular viewings.

Sara Ridgway is double majoring in a marketing and communication with a concentration in media and film. She works as a Staff Writer for The Cougar’s Byte. Now entering her junior year at Kean University, Ridgway is currently honing her skills as she prepares for a career as a reporter upon graduation.
