With Homecoming right around the corner, Kean University's Student Government has plenty of activities planned for students to get involved on campus.

On Wednesday, September 28, 2016, the festivities kick off with a Party Next Door concert at Wilkins Theatre. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets were being sold at Wilkins Theatre box office for $15, but the event has already sold out.

The decision to host Party Next Door was based on a vote by the Pulse Programming Board.

"We do our best to bring the artists that students seem to be interested in or asked to come," said Damion Wilson, Vice President of Programming of Student Organization, the full-time undergraduate student government.

"The Homecoming Concert is [a way] to get everyone excited and hyped for the Pep Rally and the Homecoming game," Wilson said. "It's [the goal is] to get the students' school spirit up."

Then on Friday, September 30 at 6 p.m. at Harwood Arena, get ready to show Cougar pride at the Homecoming Pep Rally. With activities such as tug of war, a potato sack relay, a basketball shootout, finish those lyrics and more. There is something for everyone.

To attend the Pep Rally, students must bring their valid Kean University student ID.

Wilson encourages Kean University students to bring positive energy and show their school spirit at the Pep Rally.
