Ready…set…go! Time for students to dress in their best and find their biggest hats to attend Liberty Hall’s Museum’s (LHM) Kentucky Derby-themed fundraiser!
LHM will be hosting its annual spring fundraiser on Saturday, May 7, 2016, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. to benefit the preservation projects of LHM such as the community-driven events for both children and adults held there.
“We are excited to host our Kentucky Derby-themed fundraiser!” said Bill Schroh, Jr., Director of Museum Operations for Liberty Hall. "Guests will be able to watch the most exciting two minutes in sports from their seats on the beautiful historic grounds of Liberty Hall."
Guests will be able to enjoy a smorgasbord of classic southern hors-d'oeuvres and cocktails as they watch the 142nd Kentucky Derby is it airs live on television.
Classic lawn games such as horse shoes, croquet, a silent auction and of course, a “best hat” contest! Silent auction donations and sponsorship opportunities for the fundraiser are still available. For inquires, one can email Lauri Masur at CDK Events at larui@cdkevents.com.
Admission for the event is $125 per person, and reservations are required by Friday, April 29, 2016, due to the popularity of the event.
