Kean University’s famed Liberty Hall Museum (LHM) invites little ladies far and wide to join them for a special stroll through history. On Saturday, April 9, 2016, LHM will be hosting their annual event: The Girls of Liberty Hall. This year’s tea event is entitled Tea In Toyland, in recognition of the museum’s exhibit Toys Through Time: History of American Fun.

The event will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and will have some very special features. The guests of the event will be treated to delicious snacks such as scones, finger sandwiches, treats and iced tea, all served on real, historic china.

The nibbling of snacks will be accompanied by a fashion show of reproduction children’s clothing from over the generations and seeing how the styles for children have evolved throughout history. The event will also feature an exclusive sneak peek at LHM’s exciting exhibit, Toys Through Time: History of American Fun. The event is recommended for ages 5-12, and is sure to provide a fun and educational experience for all involved.

Furthermore, the first 10 girls to sign up for the event will receive a free VIP bag! Admission for the event will be priced at $25 for adults and $30 for children. Reservations are required by Saturday, April 2, 2016.

LHM is located on 1003 Morris Ave, Union, NJ. Come travel back in time with Liberty Hall for this exciting annual get-together!
