On Saturday, November 21, 2015, the Shark Tank Competition II was held at Wenzhou-Kean University, which would determine the best team to run and manage the new bookstore at Wenzhou-Kean University. The winner of first competition, Social Dogs, brought a unique experience and influenced students for their entrepreneur spirit, which led to Shark Tank II to attract lots of students to participate.

In the competition, six teams—Page, 2 O’ Clock, Crossing, Shero, Immortal and Kepler—gave their presentations and displayed their business plan orderly. As each team presented their thoughts, and each member in all the groups touched upon their ideas for running the Wenzhou-Kean University bookstore.

The team Page used “No page, No gains” as its slogan, and its vision was to create a green and environmental-friendly bookstore. The 2 O’ Clock team presented the idea of incorporating the latticework technique and consignment in the bookstore. Next, Crossing displayed its mission of “Being the Chinese Barnes & Noble Bookstore” and put forward many creative business modes like “Book Bank.” After a short break, the presentations continued as the team Shero introduced its bookstore COMMA and handed out its well-designed peripheral products. Finally, the teams Immortal and Kepler both delivered speeches that focused on innovative forms and incorporated humorous content. While Immortal talked about its unique floor plan and the overall design of the bookstore, Kepler demonstrated its business plan through interesting scene plays.

After the fierce competition, the team Page won the competition and gained the opportunity to manage the new bookstore at Wenzhou-Kean University. The team members were excited to accept the reward and are looking forward to carrying out their plan.

Shark Tank Competition II inspired creativity of the students and gave a practical business learning opportunity of how to face the entrepreneurial world. Although there was only one team winning the competition, various ideas about running a book store from different teams made them all outstanding and impressive.

It is sure that every team has learned much about business by implementing in-class knowledge through the process to actual business planning. Hence, the efforts of every team should be valued and appreciated and it is believable that team Page will give a new but unique image of Page Bookstore at Wenzhou-Kean University!
