Many students don’t graduate from college on time. A majority of students graduate within five years some graduate within six or seven years and a few graduate in four years.
But how can students make sure to graduate within four years? Pretty easily actually. With some precise planning, students can easily take all the classes they need within four years and still not feel overwhelmed. How is this possible? By taking winter classes.
Registration for the spring and winter semesters of 2016 is coming near. To be exact, students can begin registering on the dates listed below:

Students should consider taking winter classes because in order for students to graduate the minimum credits required for most majors is 124 credits. If a student takes 12 credits a semester for four years (not counting summer or winter semesters) then that student won’t have enough credits to graduate. As a matter of fact the student will be short of 28 credits.
If a student doesn’t want to be overloaded with classes during the spring and fall semesters, they should consider taking a winter class. The 2016 winter semester will last for 10 days starting on Monday, January 4, 2016, and ending on Friday, January 15, 2016.
For information on what classes can be taken during the 10 day semester please visit Kean Wise, go to the “Student Menu” tab and then click on “Search for Sections.” When searching for open classes during the winter semester, make sure to click the correct term, and then click on the preferable days to attend class. Keep in mind that there aren’t a lot of classes being offered during the winter semester since it is a short semester.
So for those who don’t want to have another dollar in debt after college, begin planning a schedule for the semesters of winter and spring of 2016. Taking one class during the four week break shouldn’t bite. For more information about winter and spring registration, please visit the homepage of Kean Wise.
