The end of the fall semester is fast approaching and that means the beginning of the spring semester is nearby. That means it is time to register for classes for next semester.  

Students can register for classes beginning at midnight on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, some students will be able to register for spring semester classes. Students should meet with their advisors as soon as possible because classes are chosen on a first come first serve basis.

Below is the schedule for when students can register by credits (for those who are a sophomore or higher or a part time student) and by last name (for those who are a freshman):

Tuesday, October 27, 2015: those who are athletes, have a G.P.A of over 3.85, and students with disability

• Wednesday, October 28, 2015: 100 credits and above & Fall 2015 Freshmen A--L
• Thursday, October 29, 2015: 90 credits and above & Fall 2015 Freshmen M--Z
• Friday, October 30, 2015: 79 credits and above
• Monday, November 02, 2015: 69 credits and above
• Wednesday, November 04, 2015 56 credits and above
• Thursday, November 05, 2015: 51 credits and above
• Friday, November 06, 2015 44 credits and above
• Monday, November 09, 2015: 35 credits and above
• Tuesday, November 10, 2015: 29 credits and above
• Thursday, November 12, 2015: 12 credits and above
• All students November 13, 2015 - January 18, 2016
• Late registration is January 19 through January 26, 2016

• Note: Kean Wise will not be available and students will be unable to register for classes during these dates: December 4, 2015 January 11-January 14, 2016.

To register for spring semester classes one must make sure that he or she has no hold on their account, which includes advisement hold, and a financial hold. One can see if he or she has a hold by visiting the site Kean Wise, logging in with the proper credentials (Kean email username and password) and click on ‘Student Restrictions’ under the ‘Academic Profile’ section.

To search and register for classes click on ‘Register for Sections’ under the ‘Registration’ section. Then click the first link, ‘Search and register for sections.’ Once redirected to the registration page, select the correct term and then begin searching the classes you wish to take for the spring semester of 2016.

Be aware of the fact that many classes aren’t offered every semester and that some classes are only offered during the spring and some classes are only offered during the fall semester.
