The Theta chapter of multicultural sorority Omega Phi Chi has some tricks (and treats) up their sleeves when it comes to raising money for a worthy cause.
Join the girls of Omega Phi Chi on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, in the Miron Student Center (MSC) atrium between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. for a chance to create a bag of treats in the spirit of Halloween.
Since its dawn, the Theta branch of Omega Phi Chi has been dedicated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation– a non-profit organization that specializes in organizing experiences for children suffering life-threatening diseases and conditions. To make or buy a pre-made “trick or treat” bag, it will cost $1 as a donation to the foundation. The sorority will also be selling decorated mason jars full of treats for $3. All proceeds are going towards Make-A-Wish.
Omega Phi Chi is hoping to raise as much money as they can within an hour, so stop by, donate and get candy in return. For more information, email opctheta@gmail.com.
