The Thinking Creatively Conference is a professional event to network aspiring design students at Kean University. Hosted by the Robert Busch School of Design, the event is being held on April 16 and 17, 2015 at the Little Theatre in the University Center (UC) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Two days comprised of speeches, interactions, workshops, presentations, and more! Some speakers expected to be present are:
Rich Arnold- Lead product designer of Vine and Kean University alumni
John Traub & Marie Bachoc- Industrial designers of Smart Design
Sam Bergen- Campaign leader for Target, PlayStation, and Energy BBDO and team leader for Not Impossible Labs
Scott Francisco- Designer and strategist and cultural theorist in New York City
In addition to speakers a workshop on the April 16, 2015 will be held in the Green Lane Academic Building (GLAB). Registration is required. The workshop will feature multiple designers coming together in competitive spirit to design and produce multiple facets of work live on the spot.
Being held in memory of the recently passed, legendary architect and designer, Michael Graves, the event strives to conceptualize contributing creative ideas in groups to see who can come up with the best design outlet.
